About Us

Jo Coulter has been working as a physiotherapist since 1999. She qualified with an honours degree in physiotherapy from Curtin University in Western Australia. In 2006 she completed her Masters in Manual Therapy from the University of Western Australia

She has been working in the Private sector since graduation with elite clinics both in Australia and London, including work with the British Army and West End performers in Covent Garden.

Jo is driven by continuing her profession development and has completed additional post graduate qualifications in Pilates Equipment and Matwork with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute).

She is accredited with the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) and has been using acupuncture for pain relief since 2005.

She has completed many courses in manual therapy such as the treatment of the sacroiliac joint, the thorax, breathing dysfunction, the TMJ (tempero-mandibular joint) and dry needling for myofascial pain.

Jo’s most recent specialisation is in the arena of Chronic/Persistent Pain recovery and mind/body connection. She has completed a course with the Stress Illness Recovery Practitioners Association (SIRPA) and is now an approved practitioner with full certification in this method. She has also attended pain courses run by the NOI Group.

Jo’s goal is to change the way you think about pain and illness and encourage you to return to a full and active life free from pain.
